Renowned house music producer Deadmau5 was giving celebrities like Skrillex and Rob Ford rides in his sky blue Ferrari 458 Italia that he dubbed the Purrari. The car’s wrap job was inspired by a popular internet meme called Nyan Cat, but apparently Ferrari USA was none too pleased with the unsightly customized vehicle, so they sent Deadmau5 a cease-and-desist letter.

Deadmau5 responded by selling the Ferrari for $380,000 and purchasing a car from one of Ferrari’s biggest rivals, McLaren.

“I wonder if the jacka** lawyer at @FerrariUSA who sent us a “cease and desist” letter over the Purrari is un-butthurt now that I unwrapped,” Deadmau5 Tweeted.

He purchased a McLaren 650S Spider and on the recommendation of a random fan via Twitter, Deadmau5 is now giving people rides in it via Uber, a taxi service.
