BMW’s all-wheel-drive crossover vehicle, the X4, will be revealed in April at the New York International Auto Show.

The vehicle is designed with the goal of combining the conveniences of a coupe with the power of a lightweight roadster.  It will be offered with two different engines.  The bigger TwinPower turbo engine produces 300hp and can go 0-60 mph in just over five seconds.  The X4 will also sport an 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission.

BMW plans on putting the cars on the market later this year. Keep your eye on the New York International Auto Show, which kicks off on April 18, for pricing information.
