The New York City pied-a-terre of casino heavyweight Steve Wynn remains available. The residence, a penthouse in the esteemed Central Park South building—formerly the St. Moritz Hotel—popped up on the market in the final weeks of 2022. It has since received a couple of price snips that have reduced its ask from $90 million originally to $70 million.
The unit features 10,875 sq. ft. of living area across a duplex layout. It contains three bedrooms and four or more baths. At present, its interior style is fully aligned with that of other Wynn-owned properties: glossy, glitzy, and proportioned toward the awe-inspiring, they all seem to spring from the same design sensibility that has, as its primary stylistic antecedent, the most high-end of hotels.
The residence’s architectural features include soaring arched windows with transoms, very high ceilings—several coffered—and languorously long hallways and rooms. Highlights of the unit include the curving staircase and the kitchen, which features a blend of gray and black checkerboard stone tile, commercial stainless, and green stone countertops and backsplashes. In its former life, the living room was the ball room of the St. Moritz.
Wynn’s net worth is around 3.7 billion, per Forbes.
