Italian coachbuilderTouring Superleggera has unveiled its latest masterpiece: the Veloce12. As the new model is based on the Ferrari 550 Maranello, it revives a 1990s icon of Italian automotive craftsmanship.
The heart of the Veloce12 is a sonorous, naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V12 pumping out 503 horsepower. The engine’s symphonic roar is liberated by a free-flowing Supersprint exhaust system. With 0-60 mph acceleration in just 4.4 seconds, the Veloce12 provides a spirited, analog driving experience.
Its handcrafted carbon fiber body epitomizes Italian style; seductive curves and elegant lines evoke the glamour of mid-20th century Italian coachbuilding. Yet the Veloce12 also incorporates contemporary design elements and advanced engineering like CFD airflow studies.
The interior cocoons occupants in opulent luxury, with meticulously curated materials and flawless ergonomics. Bespoke adjustable suspension allows drivers to fine-tune the handling, while Brembo brakes deliver exceptional stopping power.
Only 30 examples of the Veloce12 will be produced, requiring over 5,000 hours of skilled craftsmanship per car. Production begins in early 2025, with prices starting around €690,000 (donor car not included).
“The Veloce12 advances our legacy by pushing boundaries of design and performance, while maintaining the elegance and sophistication that define our cars,” says CEO Markus Tellenbach.
The new Touring Superleggera Veloce12 promises an unforgettable grand touring experience for the discerning purist.
