Ferrari has unveiled its newest supercar, the F80, setting a new high mark for extreme performance, cutting-edge design, and racing technology adapted for the road. Destined to join the pantheon of Ferrari icons, the F80 makes no compromises in pursuit of maximum power and aerodynamic efficiency.

Under the hood lies a hybrid powertrain combining a high-revving 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine with two electric motors, producing a staggering 1200 horsepower. The V6 engine alone generates 900 hp, making it the highest specific output of any Ferrari powerplant. Electric turbochargers eliminate turbo lag, while the hybrid system provides instant torque and four-wheel drive traction.

The F80’s design cues take inspiration from Formula 1 and aerospace, with a focus on reducing drag and maximizing downforce. Active aero elements include a rear wing that adapts its angle of attack and an active diffuser that interacts with the suspension to optimize downforce. At 155 mph, the F80 generates 2,205 lbs of downforce, more than any previous road-going Ferrari.

Inside, the cockpit has a distinctive single-seater feel, enveloping the driver while the passenger seat blends into the interior trim. The compact proportions reduce frontal area, aiding the slippery shape. Despite the focus on aerodynamics, the F80 retains trademark Ferrari emotive styling including butterfly doors and prominent air intakes.

Production of the F80 will be limited to 799 examples, each pushing the boundaries of what is possible in a road-legal hypercar.
