The storied automaker Hispano Suiza has resurrected its vintage spirit with the newest hypercar in its electric Carmen range—the Carmen Sagrera. Unveiled at a glitzy celebration of the brand’s 120th anniversary, this sleek speedster pays homage to Hispano Suiza’s rich history while advancing toward a spectacular electric future.

Sleek yet forceful, the Carmen Sagrera embodies power and grace. Its pointed front grille recalls the luxurious Hispano Suiza Alfonso XIII sports cars of the early 1900s, while the rear stork-wing spoiler adds avian aerodynamics. Touches like copper accents and a Cava Gold paint job that shifts tones evoke Spanish roots.

But make no mistake, this is no relic. The Sagrera’s four 205 kW motors generate 1,100 hp, rocketing it from 0 to 62 mph in a dizzying 2.6 seconds. Its new 103 kWh battery—developed entirely in-house—extends the range to nearly 300 miles. Enhanced cooling and suspension systems ensure the Sagrera handles as sharply as it looks.

The Carmen Sagrera starts at €2.5 million, or about $2.68 million. Its soulful spirit will be on full display when it makes its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this July.
