Mercedes-AMG is introducing the new 2024 AMG CLE 53 Coupe, blending agile sportiness with refined style. Arriving at dealers this summer, the two-door fastback coupe melds the best attributes of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class into an artfully athletic shape.

Under the sculpted hood lies an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, turbocharged via an exhaust gas turbocharger and electric auxiliary compressor to produce 443 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. Mild-hybrid technology with a 48-volt integrated starter generator adds an extra boost of 23 hp and 151 lb-ft. Power flows through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT 9-speed transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.

“The CLE 53 Coupe clearly reflects its AMG lineage through athletic aesthetics and potent performance,” said Mercedes-AMG CEO Michael Schiebe.

Signature AMG design cues include a long hood, steeply raked windshield, prominent front air intakes, and flared fenders over 19-inch wheels. Muscular rear haunches flow into an integrated ducktail spoiler above two-part LED taillights. Inside, sport seats and metallic trim create an exclusive ambience, augmented by the latest MBUX infotainment system.

The AMG-calibrated suspension, with adaptive damping and rear-axle steering, balances agility and comfort. Multiple AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes alter powertrain, steering, and chassis behavior. AMG high-performance brakes provide formidable stopping power.
