Legendary BMW tuner Manhart is bidding farewell to the acclaimed M5 F90 edition with its most powerful creation yet—the MH5 900. Limited to just 5 units, this beastly sedan packs a staggering 915 horsepower, transforming the M5 into a road-devouring monster.

To extract an additional 288 horses from the M5’s twin-turbo V8, Manhart went to work fitting a carbon intake, upgraded turbos, new intercooler and pistons, and a tuned ECU. Exhaling through a stainless exhaust system, this souped-up mill can propel the MH5 900 from 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds, planting it firmly in hypercar territory.

Yet Manhart balances raw power with refinement. Lowering springs and optional coilovers sharpen handling without sacrificing comfort, while ceramic brakes provide fade-free stopping force. Visually, exposed carbon fiber accentuates the M5’s curves, from the front splitter to the rear diffuser. Copper branding adds distinction without going over the top.

Inside, brown leather and Alcantara complement an LED starlight headliner for a warm, inviting cockpit. With the M5 set to go hybrid, Manhart’s send-off celebrates the F90’s free-breathing V8 in limited exclusivity.

Rather than an “unstreetable” speed machine, the MH5 900 enhances the M5’s duality of luxury and performance. It’s a fitting farewell to one of BMW’s greatest, culminating the F90 edition’s legacy in artful balance. For a lucky few, the road forward promises savage, unadulterated speed wrapped in hand-crafted refinement.
