Ferrari debuted a one-of-a-kind Tailor Made 812 Competizione during Monterey Car Week. The imaginative interpretation of Maranello’s limited-edition 812 apexes bespoke personalization, blending exclusivity with individual expression.
Ferrari North America commissioned the car to benefit education through an upcoming New York charity auction, to be held at its gala on October 17. Ferrari chief designer Flavio Manzoni penned initial sketches on iconic yellow cards, inspiring the unique exterior details that were handcrafted through meticulous collaboration between Ferrari’s styling and customization teams.
The curvilinear exterior in matte Giallo Tristrato flows with the designer’s original vision, while matte Nero DS Sketch lines trace signature 812 Competizione elements like the front hood air blade. Inside, embroidered sketches grace sustainable Alcantara seats; a first use of the material for such custom accents.
The tailored 812 Competizione represents the pinnacle of Ferrari’s elite personalization program. Both a technical showcase and creative canvas, the car epitomizes the passion only the Prancing Horse can ignite.
When engineering prowess meets aesthetic flair, automotive art is born. By imbuing their supercar with such personal craftsmanship and emotional resonance, Ferrari shows a special car need not be merely purchased—it can be commissioned just as timeless artworks are.
