Land Rover has a new Range Rover Sport variation for the upcoming model year. The newest addition to the family is a rather Special Vehicle, and so arrives in dealerships later this year as the 2024 Range Rover Sport SV.
The new Range Rover occupies the ever-evolving performance/luxury flagship space, and to that end this is a last-word Range Rover, with the exception of the limited-run launch edition that will usher it into the marketplace. The Range Rover Sport SV’s looks are suitably alpha and adept as well, with an exterior that’s sculpted and metallic.
The variant’s mild-hybrid V8 powertrain makes the Range Rover Sport SV the most powerful Range Rover in the history of the model, according to the automaker, offering drivers 626 horsepower at peak, enough juice to push the SUV from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. If optioned, the variant may be outfitted with 23-inch carbon fiber wheels, Brembo brakes and 6D Dynamics Air Suspension with Pitch and Roll Control for an acute performance profile. The variant is decked out with a list of carbon fiber components that includes hood and tailpipes.
The new Range Rover Sport SV will be preceded by a launch edition, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One, which features special branding inside and out as well as special features, colors and finishes.
