Danny Bonaduce Seeking $1.5M for Seattle Home

The Seattle home of 1970s child star-turned-controversial media personality Danny Bonaduce has apparently sold within days of a relist-with-price-reduction. According to public records, the carrot-top kid from the bizarro hit show ‘Partridge Family’ — which followed the trials and tribulations of a squeaky-clean peripatetic pop-music clan — has owned the property since 2015.

The house appeared for sale in the middle of May, tagged at $1.6 million; in the first week of June, the sellers trimmed $100K from the ask, which did the trick in two days. As of writing, the property is in pending status.

The house is a beaut. According to listing information, the three-and-three triple-decker dates to 2004, although its bones appear to be much older. It is located in the city’s historic Queen Anne neighborhood.

Inside, the house shows all the indications of being a full rebuild, although a prevailing eccentricity suggests a 19th century floorplan. Of the shared spaces, the blue ribbon goes to the double-height great room, which manages scale and coziness in a single expression.

The design sensibility of the home overall is cleanly, warm-but-not-overwhelmingly-so contemporary, with soft cool tones balancing out the eye-catching contrasts of the hardwood plank flooring and exposed ceiling timber. Skylights and lots and lots of windows create interior spaces awash in natural light. Views are stunning, with the Sound and the Space Needle prominently featured, and the interior architecture is packed with surprises.
