This spring, Mercedes-Benz announced a limited-run for the EQS Sedan: the Manufaktur Signature Edition variants. Four series will be built in all, the run even divided between specially designed EQS 580 4MATIC Sedan and AMG EQS Sedan trim levels.

The Signature Edition EQS Sedan is both brand and model enhancement, and an opportunity to cash in on the appeal of the ‘custom turnkey’ special addition. An item that is both custom and turnkey is contradictory…but they sell extremely well. Merc hasn’t announced pricing for the four models at this time, but expect to see a premium over the regular-production EQS sedans.

For the two EQS 580 4MATIC Manufaktur Signature Editions, the production run breaks down between Silicon Grey exterior with Mystic Red Nappa leather inside, or Rubellite Red Metallic contrasted with Deep White Nappa; the AMG EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition cars come in Night Black Magno or Kalahari Gold Magno, both with Deep White Nappa.

All receive hand-stitched upholstery, Nappa accents and wheel, comfort headrest seats, and a center console adorned with the word ‘Manufaktur’.
