Back on the market this spring goes this Los Angeles trophy home owned collectively by Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner. The Beverly Hills property popped up for sale initially last fall, when it was tagged at $21.9 million. Its return is accompanied by a price chop that leaves it asking $19.999 million.

The dwelling is a modern-inspired structure dating to 1971, but renovations have left it nearer to contemporary. The exterior of the 9,680 square-footer is hard-nosed and uncompromising, but it works in a porte-cochere, and that bit of romantically inclined invitation orients the home toward the welcoming. Black garage doors and black steel awnings over the windows are more forbidding.

Inside, the trend toward obsidian blossoms into nightshade: the house is rather intense by virtue of its overall black treatment. The kitchen and guest bedroom both receive a great whack of darkness, while doorway trim, accents, cabinetry and some doors follow suit. Floors are wide-plank oak in a slightly enhanced natural finish, adding warmth and texture to balance things out.
