The Rocky Mountain vacation property of Under Armor founder Kevin Plank is back in the real estate news this spring. The apparel billionaire put the super-rustic penthouse mansion in Park City up for sale toward the end of last year, asking $21.5 million.

No dice, and so the alpine getaway in Deer Valley Resort is back on the market in the nascent days of spring ’23, asking $18.5 million. The lodge-inspired condo spans 7,047 sq. ft. across two levels; it dates to 2010, and is designed in the style of goldmine revival: the ‘Daily Chutes’ mine is just down the trail a piece, and in full view courtesy of the five-bed, seven-bath residence’s abundant glass and the spirited panorama it calls upon for regional-historical context.

The unit’s décor doesn’t miss a beat, with reclaimed timber and rusticated stone integral to the living style; vaulted and beamed ceilings, Moroccan ceiling panels from the 19th-century, and light fixtures inspired by the time and place conjured also contribute to the feel of the place. Earth tones are used exclusively, down to the dark green tiles in the kitchen.

The accommodations list includes an incorporated ‘bunk house’ that sleeps eight; amenities include a stylized kitchen with a trio of patina-enriched ‘oil lamp’ pendants, a fireplace game room with a wet bar and a pool table that gets the Jeremiah Johnson seal of approval, and a cozy master with a linear fireplace and a balcony.

Plank’s net worth is around $1.1 billion, according to Forbes.
