Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Redesigned for 2024

With its new model year iteration of the GLC Coupe, Mercedes has expanded upon one of its more compelling arguments for having one’s cake and eating it, too. The GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe appears to be nearly at home off-road as on, and packed with the frills that disarm the resistance of the Benz buyer.

Bigger, longer and wider than its outgoing elder, the 2024 version of the crossover-y SUV is a triple threat, with highway performance, off-road potential and design all receiving equal attention in the vehicle. The model joins the bulk of newer Mercs in employing mild hybrid powertrain features for efficiency and a little extra juice on the road. Its exterior lines suggest both urbanity and adventure-readiness, although certainly err on the side of the former. The Surround View camera system is included as standard.

Standard features for the new GLC Coupe include a sport suspension, the new Driver’s Assistance package — which features DISTRONIC preset distance with the car ahead, as well as Active Brake Assist and Traffic Sign Assist, Downhill Speed Regulation, and PARKTRONIC parking assistance — and High Performance LED headlamps with individual lamp control for precise targeting under varied conditions. Merc’s PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side Function can be optioned for greater safety should the unthinkable occur.

The cabin experience of the 2024 GLC Coupe is quieter than the outgoing iteration. The latest versions of MBUX and the Hey Mercedes assistant join 12.3 and 11.9-inch screens and the Burmester audio system as standard.
