A South Florida residence owned by professional downhill skier Lindsey Vonn is on the open market this spring with an asking price of $6 million. According to public records, the four-time World Cup champ purchased the Miami Beach modern a little less than a year ago.
The 3,016 sq. ft. home dates to the middle of the 1950s, and contains four bedrooms and five baths. Its architectural features include full-width attached pergolas, and an interior living area that’s open concept and incredibly inviting. It opens to a patio and step-down pool area and sun lounge nestled within a border of suitably rambunctious tropical flora.
The living area is floored in large concrete tiles, a cooling presence in the Miami Beach heat; wide-plank hardwood is used for the bedrooms. The master bath was a primary focus of the most recent renovation; updated with floor-to-ceiling gray-brown tile and designed with an eye cast East, the room is an example of tasteful and engaging design.
