BMW revealed updates for the upcoming model year Z4 recently. For 2023, some performance features become standard for the sDrive30i roadster, new colors are available for both sDrive30i and M40i variants, and options increase to include 19-inch M light alloy wheels.
The Z4 sports an adjusted ‘kidney’ grille, a svelte and blacked-out expression that fits it well. However, the biggest news for the refreshed Z4 is the fact that the M Sport package comes standard on the sDrive30i version. The performance kit alters the shape of the roadster, giving it a more aggressive orientation; three-section air intakes in front, a new rear apron, and newly-designed side sills and intakes are the defining componentry; M Sport interior touches include a special leather steering wheel, pedals, driver’s footrest, dash upholstery, and seats.
Newly available metallic paint colors will also grace the Z4 options list for 2023. Thundernight Metallic got the nod for the official promotional shoot; a fetching dark plum, it will appeal to the extroverted driver. Additional colors newly available for the upcoming model year include Portimao Blue and Skyscraper Grey. Other options for Z4 buyers next year: M Shadowline Lights — with or without Adaptive LED lamps.
Pricing for the 2023 Z4 starts at $52,800, including a $995 destination charge. The refreshed model will be formally debuted in November.
