Well, perhaps not quite. But you can begin to secure the residential look, as Kardashian has added home accessories to her long list of business interests.

The billionaire businesswoman’s latest line, all concrete, display a unique softness; as a suggestion of paradox, the combination of material and rendering does indeed work well. The collection’s spirit is ‘serene’, as its associated press release informs; populating one’s living space with it is the beginning of a ‘clutter-free’ life.

And, to be sure, the collection does suggest the monastic; never has a tissue box looked quite so severe. Like the other items in the collection, it is a distillation of a home accessory. Taken as a set, the collection is quite affecting, a sculptural brush with the everyday. In its spirit of abstraction, it echoes the Calabasas condo Kardashian and ex Kanye West redesigned to taste, and which is currently up for sale with an asking price of $3.5 million.

As it is a nascent venture, the collection is contained under the SKKN BY KIM umbrella. Testing the waters for an all-concrete set of home accessories was probably wise, although the power of the name and brand identity may well sell concrete to the decadence set.

Besides the tissue box, the collection includes a vanity tray, round container, wastebasket and canister.
