Dan Reynolds, keys man and lead singer of Las Vegas hometown band Imagine Dragons, is the newest owner of a midcentury property in Los Feliz. The estate, which features 6,136 sq. ft. of interior living area across two structures, dates to 1955, and begins with a lattice-like set of gates and a driveway flanked by retaining walls and decorated by varied flora.
Although heavily renovated, the spirit of the home’s build era continues to shine through in details throughout. The sense of space that develops in the shared living area is borderline breathtaking; it’s a seemingly endless and very open progression, with a modern version of a hardwood coffered ceiling that occasionally shows off a latticed panel and a three-island kitchen along the way. The floors, wide-plank and finished to a lustrous warmth, are also eye-catching.
The home’s accommodations include a large, glassy master; like other spaces in the home, it features views which take in the breadth and bucolic seclusion of the property. Amenities in the house include a wet bar, with the pool house receiving another.
According to Dirt, Reynolds paid $5.8 million for the four-bedroom, five-bath modern last month.
Imagine Dragons has sold over 75 million records worldwide. The band’s most recent studio release is Mercury – Act 2.
