NBA guard Russell Westbrook listed his cavernous home in Los Angeles this month. The Lakers star is asking $29.95 million for the 13,425 sq. ft. mansion, which sits on a half-acre lot in the city’s Brentwood Park neighborhood.
The house is a contemporary Cape with six bedrooms and eight baths across two levels. It was completed in 2018. A look at the outside reveals traditional elements, including barn-style garage doors, along with extended eaves, casement windows and French doors. In back, its first level includes a loggia overlooking a lawn and pool.
The home’s interiors include some unexpected details, including the living room ceiling, finished in stained timber; the space also works in a fireplace with a marble surround and a wall of built-in bookshelves. Other highlights of the home include the extensions, which give upper and lower levels glassed-in alcoves.
