Actor Clive Standen listed his 2004-built Spanish-style in Los Angeles this summer, according to Dirt. Standen, who played the lead in television series Taken and Vikings, is asking $2.595 million for the hillside home, which is perched over canyon views in Studio City.
The 3,860 square-footer’s front doors open to the home’s great room, a cavernous space with a languid staircase hugging one wall and rising to the upper floor beneath a soaring ceiling. Plank hardwood and a white-painted brick fireplace accent wall are other elements at work in this destination space.
There’s a bit more white-painted brick at work in the kitchen, where it’s arranged in a herringbone pattern for the floor. Elsewhere in the house is a checkerboard marble tile floor — grey and white — as well as traditional tiling in the baths, bedroom balconies and, outside, an enclosed hillside pool area, a cabana, and a cobblestone entry courtyard and pergola-covered living area are artfully build into the roughly .2-acre lot.
Standen’s recent films include Vendetta, with Bruce Willis.
