NFL player David Bahktiari didn’t have to tackle a prospective buyer to sell his Los Angeles residence. The Packers’ defensive presence sold the house in very short order; the time elapsed from appearance on the open market to contract was less than two weeks. The property changed hands for 6.15 million, fairly close to its $6.299 million ask.
A 2019 build, the 7,113 sq. ft. contemporary estate has six bedrooms and eight baths to its credit; the main house is joined by a pool house and a gym. The little estate is situated on .48 acres in Tarzana, with a BBQ bar, sunken fire pit, and a centerpiece pool and spa with a Baja bar.
The home’s interiors begin with a wide-open shared space floored in glossy stone tiles; a slatted hardwood-clad accent wall with a linear fireplace is the centerpiece here. A single-stringer switchback staircase with transparent glass balustrades, Fleetwood doors, and a double-island kitchen with dove grey floor-to-ceiling cabinetry also distinguish this space.
The upper level master suite extends to two rooms exclusive of bath and closet, and opens to a private terrace through sliding glass, where the accent wall that is such a prominent feature of the home’s façade can be experienced up close.
