Media czar and culture warrior Oprah Winfrey sold off a characteristically buoyant slice of Montecito this summer. The little estate changed hands for $14.8 million, according to Dirt, concluding an off-market deal.

The property was more of an investment opportunity for Winfrey, who had only owned it for a year before passing it on to Jennifer Aniston. Winfrey’s primary estate in Montecito, titled The Promised Land, spans 66 acres and has 20,000 sq. ft. of interiors to its credit.

The outgoing estate is a one-acre chunk of SoCal Mediterranean fantasy with three residences to speak of; two guest cottages augment the main house. Aniston wasn’t all in, however; the transaction price only concerns the main house. The residence is a Mediterranean style. It has a four bedroom layout, with four full and half bathrooms along its 4,320 sq. ft. of interiors.

The cottages were both purchased by Winfrey’s fitness guru, ‘Best Life’ creator and ‘Best Life Foods’ founder Bob Greene.
