Actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have put a Los Angeles home up for sale. The two-bedroom, three-bath property surfaced on the open market in the first week of September, priced at $1.55 million.

The tallish 1995-built modern sits on a steeply pitched .45-acre hillside lot in the history-rich neighborhood of Mount Washington. It is beautifully framed by mature trees, and the accidental nature of the green and growing makes a fine setting for the home’s substance: geometric forms and mathematical industrial flourishes.

Inside the 1,864 sq. ft. home, the bright, warm openness of a classically modern living style carries the day. Walls, ceilings and even staircase balustrades and handrails are bright white, keeping the photons moving as they careen through the windows; as contrast, the floors are honey-toned plank hardwood.
