Actress Lauren Graham recently ponied up $2.7 million for this Spanish-style in the Laughlin Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The property changed hands for $2.7 million. The acquisition was, according to Dirt, directly preceded by Lauren’s sale of her longtime home, also in Laughlin Park, to neighbors. That sale rang in at $6 million, nearly double her $3.2 million outlay back in 2005.
The home Graham purchased is a stucco 2,007-sq. ft. three bedroom that dates to 1925. It was formerly owned by actress Ashley Benson, who purchased it in 2017 for $1.8 million; she renovated the place and sold it in 2020 for $2.14 million. The hillside lot is smallish, and as a result the home pushes upward and not outward, rising three levels from terra firma and in so doing possessing a layout that’s as marvelously and cozily compartmental as it is bright and airy.
French doors, fireplaces, bright white paint, recessed built-in bookshelves, narrow-plank oak, and gracefully sculpted ceilings are among the details contributing to the interior living style. Outside are balconies and terraces with solid stucco balustrades; these spaces offer fine views of the area, and represent primary destinations for the property.
Graham has most recently been involved in the Disney series Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, and was mighty fun playing opposite Larry David in her recurring role in the ninth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
