Busy Philipps — born Elizabeth Jean — and her husband, writer Marc Silverstein, are looking to sell their New York retreat this year. Philipps and Silverstein, who are currently separated, are asking $1.75 million for the property. The house appeared on the open market in the middle of July, according to Dirt.

The house is a 1970s contemporary surrounded by 43.3 acres of land in Rhinebeck. Showing off a 1970s rusticity that appears to have survived nearly untouched, the three-bedroom is a magnificent survivor of an artistic past; the mudroom features a wall finished in brightly colored mosaic hardwood, a singular statement that marks the house as an individual from the start.

Among the more interesting details is the kitchen’s bank of glass-doored cabinetry. A newer barn door, posts with exposed iron, unfinished doors and ceilings and the freestanding double-sided fireplace accent wall on the second floor are other features of this come-as-you-are house, which is ready for its next artist or novelist owner.
