Former LA Galaxy player Jermaine Jones just parted ways with his rustic A-frame getaway cottage in Malibu, California. According to Dirt, the fleet-footed athlete accepted an offer of $2.81 million for the three-and-three, which sits comfortably on 3.93 acres at a cul-de-sac above Central Malibu.

The property is a little bit of a laid-back compound, with a one-room detached guest room and storage shed filling out the plateau. The main house features a cathedral ceiling finished in pine, lots of glass, and a loft living area. Its two bedrooms include a master that opens to a deck. The kitchen features an island with a butcher-block cap.

Outside, a pool and firepit provide elemental diversions, while a chicken coop and planters increase self-sufficiency. Views from the hilltop location take in the Santa Monica Mountains.
