Caryl Englander, the wife of Millennium Management co-founder Israel Englander, put a matched set of penthouse condos in a South Florida high rise up for sale this summer. According to The Wall Street Journal, the Miami Beach units are listed at $20 million and $25 million; as a single residence, they combine to form a ten-bedroom villa in the sky.
The two penthouses crown the Fontainebleau tower. Both units measure in at 4,500 sq. ft., excluding terrace space; a conservative estimate of the total square footage of both properties is 10,500. Each unit contains five baths and two half-baths.
While the layout and interior architecture of the penthouses is similar, the design style of the two units is somewhat different. The pricier South Penthouse receives a color scheme that draws on muted pastels, while the North Tower appears to be done in neutral tones. They share deep tray ceilings and the floor-to-ceiling glass that brings in panoramic views of the Miami Beach area.
The units are being sold with furnishings, which are generally Caribbean-inspired, understated, and unpretentious. The terrace of each penthouse features a spa and shower.
Israel Englander’s net worth is north of $11 billion, per Forbes.
