Cadillac’s newest V-series vehicles married the brand’s luxury identity with supercar performance. The CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing—both V-Series cars, as their model designations indicate—were released last year, giving the lead-footed among the brand’s faithful an option for a thrilling daily driver.
For the upcoming model year, Cadillac has honed the Blackwing models to an even finer edge. In the spring, the company unveiled a CT5-V 120th Anniversary Edition. For summer, the automaker has revealed Track Editions of the CT4-V.
The limited-edition CT4-V lineup actually boils down to a choice of three distinct trims, each one decked out in a unique cosmetics treatment designed around a specific Cadillac IMSA track victory, so the truth is nearer to a CT4-V Track Edition, with three available themes. All three come with Carbon Fiber Package 1 and Carbon Fiber Package 2, the IMSA badge front and back, the Mondrian-inspired crest on hood and sides, and bronze calipers; inside, the Track Edition CT4-V variants sport a build plate and shift lever decal. Six-speed stick and 10-speed automatic gearbox options are available.
The individual Track Edition schemes include ‘Road Atlanta’, ‘Sebring’, and ‘Watkins Glen’. The Road Atlanta CT4-V Track Edition comes in Rift Metallic White, while the Sebring is painted Maverick Noir Frost. The Watkins Glen variant is in Electric Blue. And there are three interior design options for each Track Edition.
Cadillac has planned a production number of 99 examples for each CT4-V Track Edition. Production is planned for the first half of 2023.
