Political staffer Huma Abedin is reportedly renting out her Long Island house for $35K per month. The Hamptons property, which Abedin purchased in 2020, is a Colonial Farmhouse-style that hails from the early 1990s; it contains five bedrooms and four baths, and sits on a lot of .79 acres.

More recent renovations to the home, which were perhaps conducted after Abedin’s buyout of the property — she paid a little over a million for it in the throes of divorce from ex-husband Anthony Weiner, according to The New York Post — have brought the greyscale design foundation to the shared living areas: soft grey walls and weathered plank flooring. The kitchen bears the brunt of the intensity, with glossy paint in a shade near to black and off-white countertops. A couple of the bedrooms get the dashes of color, with one sporting walls in emerald green.

The acreage is pleasingly bucolic, with broad carpets of lawn front and back; in the rear, the green is only interrupted by a flagstone patio and an amoeba-shaped swimming pool with a flagstone sun deck. A front porch overlooks the home’s environs.
