Aaron Paul Selling Wright-Inspired Modern in Idaho for $1.3M

Emmy winner Aaron Paul is back in the real estate news this summer with a sale-in-the-making. The property was priced at $1.35 million when it appeared on the open market in the first week of July. It is currently listed in pending status.

The star of new-television writing 101 course text Breaking Bad and current cast member of HBO’s bleak, broken-world series Westworld has owned a couple of notable properties in the Los Angeles area over the past twelve or fifteen years, including a marvelous Spanish-style he took of the hands of actor Jim Parsons in 2019 for $7 million. The house in question, however, is in Paul’s home state of Idaho.

A 1959-built 2,171 sq. ft. modern with two bedrooms, two baths and a rustic spirit, the house’s design is said to be inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. What is not disputable is its remarkable warm weather-oriented feature: the seemingly endless bank of French doors that are especially concentrated around the thermally heated indoor pool.

Inside, the house — which is known as the ‘Klein House’ — is virtually dominated by wood grain: plank walls and ceilings, wood-framed windows and doors, cabinetry. Masonry is used as well as a wall material, though, and floors are concrete or slate. A look at the lot reveals a private suburban glade, with much of it given over to a large yard protected by a perimeter wall.

Paul still owns a home in the Gem State; the waterfront home is located in McCall, near the Tamarack winter resort.
