Luxury automaker Bentley recently crowed a bit about one of its newer options: the Airline Seat Specification that can be ordered for the long-wheelbase Bentayga.
The cushy chaise-lounge-like chair is fitted in the back of the Bentayga, and clearly intended for executive types looking to ride about in a chauffeured example. Bentley consulted a chiropractor to help with the algorithm-driven design, and installed additional ECUs to control it all.
The reclining seat features postural adjustment, a footrest that extends at the push of a button, and an exceedingly complex climate-adjustment system that uses a dozen motors, and that trio of pneumatic ECUs that can make on-the-fly changes in milliseconds to sustain an optimal degree of comfort.
As of now, the Airline Seat Specification is only available on the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase.
