Back in 2018, Ferrari unveiled the ultimate racing homage: the Monza, in driver-only and driver/passenger configurations. SP1 and SP2, as they have been named, got a lot of attention when they appeared. Lovely they are, and fast, and purist; the model variations came loaded with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, and were inspired by early track models right down to their lack of a windscreen.

Novitec was the first major automotive tuner to turn in a revised version of the Monza; fair enough, as the firm is the major automotive tuner most dedicated to the Prancing Horse. The Novitec-tailored Monza SP1 comes with a modest power boost, 21-inch Vossen wheels in front and 22-inch in back, active aero, and INCONEL exhaust.

Joining the Novitec creation is the Monza of another tuner; Mansory got a special commission from a Monza SP2 owner, and turned in a respectfully revised open-top racer. The company brought new carbon fiber components to the front, sides and back, as well as YT.5 Air forged aluminum wheels — staggered 21- and 22-inch units, of course — and an upgraded exhaust system. The power increase of Mansory’s Monza is very near to what Novitec managed to squeeze out of the engine…around 3-5% extra horsepower and torque.

Mansory’s Monza is dressed in classical Ferrari red — Rosso Corsa — but given black racing stripes and contrasting red and back seats for an unusually fetching, and quite tasteful look.
