Miraculous rock-and-roll lifestyle survivor Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon have put their villa in Los Angeles up for sale this summer.

The pair, whose collective life was both scripted and explored in early 2000s reality program The Osbournes and its progeny, have owned the home since 2015. They purchased it in dire need of restoration; the project has now been completed, and the 11,565 sq. ft. Italianate is currently listed on the open market and priced at $18 million.

Positioned on a .56-acre lot in the heart of the city, the six-bedroom, nine-bath house has been revised as a residential homage to old Hollywood. More salient details include the shimmering spring-themed panoramic wall covering in the parlor, the stenciled semi-vaulted ceiling over the stairwell, and the opulent velour-like crimson and celebrity-autograph-decorated fireplace mantel of the home’s cinema.

Original or period elements include leaded glass casements, the repurposed icebox cabinetry in the kitchen, arched doorways, and the carved wood paneling and milled dentil molding of the library. Herringbone and plank oak, a host of period fixtures that touch on Edwardian and Deco styles, and plank ceilings also appear on a tour of the home. Dig the bat-themed light fixture in the office; you bite the head off one bloody bat, and it defines your career.

Outside, a pool with jets is the focus of the backyard, although the loggia with fireplace and honed marble harlequin-pattern tile gets the prize; it looks just the ticket for afternoon tea.

Ozzy Osbourne has sold over 100 million albums, counting sales with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist. Black Sabbath’s final studio album, 2013’s 13, rocketed to the top of the charts in the U.S. and other markets. But Ozzy’s journey continues. His upcoming album Patient Number 9 is scheduled for release in a couple of months.
