Newly-minted Miami Dolphins team member Tyreek Hill has a heck of a paycheck burning a hole in his pocket. To shorten his commute, the wide receiver and Super Bowl champ spent a bit of it on a palatial property in the Miami suburb of Southwest Ranches. The estate set him back $6.9 million.
The seven-bed, eight-bath house has plantation-architecture aspirations; its façade is dominated by a soaring extended roof supported by a quartet of tree trunk-sized Corinthian columns. The ornamental detail is used throughout the rear recreation area, too, although in reduced scale.
The interiors are dressed up with some craftsmanship details, including the ornamental ceilings that adorn many of the home’s individual rooms. Specialty rooms in the house: an office, a library, a billiards room, and a fitness room.
But it’s the backyard recreation area that gets top billing here. The extravagant use of the property’s acreage includes a putting green, a full-sized basketball court, and a labyrinth of arcades with multiple gazebos, including one that’s packed with a long bar and commercial-grade stainless cooking hardware various and sundry, surrounding a swimming pool courtyard.
