This spring, rap cat Wiz Khalifa took a shine to a brand new Modern Farmhouse-style on half an acre in Encino. The extroverted fellow dropped $7.6 million on the six-bedroom home, which features a lavish interior with a wine display and bar, a theater, and an office, and a meandering exterior that packs in a pool and pool house, patios and BBQ, and sports court.

All well and good, but Khalifa already owned a six-bedroom Modern in Encino, for which he paid $3.4 million in early 2019. So, this summer, onto the market it goes, asking $4.495 million.

The house is another newer structure: it dates to 2018. Its exterior is boxy, and warmed considerably by plentiful accent hardwood; the second floor of its façade shows of an attached pergola over the master terrace, while in back it follows fashion and opens broadly to its outdoor living area through optional glass walls. Outdoor spaces include a dining veranda, and a sports court is squirreled away off the garage, but the area is dominated by the pool, pool house, and bar.

Inside, the home evokes space nicely to begin, with a soaring foyer and an L-shaped staircase with hardwood treads and industrial-inspired balustrade and handrail, before moving on to a large living room with a linear fireplace. Partial walls give definition to sitting, dining and family rooms.
