Serial 1’s growing family of e-bikes received a new member this season. The new model is an off-road specialty ride called the SWITCH/MTN eMTB, and it’s breadth of adjustability makes it perfect for a full day of unpaved adventuring.
The bike features an SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain with an 11-50 cassette for an improved gear range, as well as an adjustable suspension fork from Suntour and a TranzX Dropper Seat Post for seat changes underway. The SWITCH/MTN electric mountain bike comes with Michelin E-Wild tires for extra grip and added control.
SWITCH/MTN is designed with geometry optimized for off-road riding, and features a host of ride modes: Boost, Sport, Eco and Tour. It has a maximum assistance speed of 20 MPH, and its motor develops 66 pound-feet of torque.
$4,499. Shipments begin in August.
