Audemars Piguet worked with a noted Italian jewelry designer to create its newest women’s timepiece.
Marrying the technical with the gracefully classical, the Audemars Piguet x Carolina Bucci Royal Oak Selfwinding features a case and strap crafted from black ceramic; the conspicuous pink gold screws are an integral part of the watch’s design. An Audemars Piguet Calibre 5800 movement is the heart of the timepiece.
The dial is the most unusual element of this watch, however, with a special look unique to each example and a rainbow effect when the light is right. The watch’s caseback materials are sapphire and titanium.
The Audemars Piguet x Carolina Bucci Royal Oak Selfwinding will be produced in a run of 300 watches, and priced at $54,200.
