It was about a year and a half ago that Villa Firenze, the lavish Los Angeles estate of billionaire Air Lease ex-CEO Steven Udvar-Házy, went up for auction.
The property, which its now-former owner had marketed for as much as $165 million, ultimately bid out at $51 million. Its present owner has flipped it back on the market this spring with an asking price of $120 million.
Villa Firenze occupies a 9.87-acre slice of Beverly Hills, and that fact makes it exceptional all by itself. The house was completed in 1998, and contains at least 25,000 sq. ft. of interiors. Details include ancient stone fireplaces, ornamental columns, and stone tile floors. Individual spaces of note include a Tuscan-inspired kitchen with a skylight and a library with wood paneling.
The extravagant grounds include large swaths of lawn and specimen plantings. A pool, guest house, and tennis court round out a look at the greater exterior amenities.
