One of the homes in Malibu, California, owned by tennis ace John McEnroe has been volleyed to a new owner, according to Dirt. The heavily modified 1930s home is located in the city’s endlessly desirable Colony neighborhood, which likely explains why McEnroe was able to get $29 million for the place.
The New England-style home contains five bedrooms and seven baths across 3,700 sq. ft. of interior living space. The more recent remodel carried out includes new hardwood floors, a full kitchen overhaul, and updated baths. As it currently stands, the home’s entire third level is devoted to an owner’s suite; there are two other suites on the property, including guest accommodations.
The home was offered for rent at $125K per month by McEnroe in the spring of 2017.
