The Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps has listed her Long Island vacation home on the seasonal rental market for the summer once again. The reality television personality is offering the charming home for July and August; both months can be booked at $195K, while July and August can be booked alone for $95K and $110K, respectively.
Prices have come down a bit. Back in 2018, de Lesseps listed the property in Sag Harbor for sale on the open market with an asking price of $6.25 million. At that time, a summer rental was also offered: $150K would get a renter the keys for the month of August. Last summer, July was priced at $100K, and both months could be had for $200K.
The house, a Greek Revival with four bedrooms and four baths, sits on a .31-acre lot overlooking Upper Sag Harbor Cove. It dates to 1835, and renovations have generally been sensitive, sustaining the spirit of the place. Plank and beam ceilings, bright white paint, sash windows, French doors, and what appear to be original wide-plank pine floors are among the house’s interior details and contributors to the living style.
The bedrooms are all distinctly individual spaces, but shared the commonalities of buoyancy and airiness; some subtle toning is in the picture for all three, with soft pastels and warm neutrals represented. Outside, a pergola-covered deck overlooks a strip of lawn and the Cove; on a sunny day in August, who would wish to be elsewhere?
