The newest watch to emerge from the partnering of German automotive tuning specialist Brabus and Italian watchmaker Panerai is another not-so-crypto-military-looking timekeeper: the Submersible S Brabus Blue Shadow Edition. The new watch features a water-resistant design that makes it the perfect accessory for boat buyers interested in the new Brabus Shadow 900 tender.
The watch’s 47mm case was made using 3D printing, and fabricated from titanium. Other ingredients in the tech-tough build include Carbotech, also used in the Submersible S BRABUS Black Ops Edition unveiled last October; the proprietary p.4001/s movement also hails from the Black Ops watch. A band in rubber is best for boating enthusiasts, but landlubbers who dream of the sea may wish to opt for a leather/rubber combo.
Only 200 examples of the Submersible S Brabus Blue Shadow Edition will be produced. The price tag reads $49,200.
