Actor and producer Eugenio Derbez is the new owner of a recently built green home on .56 acres in Encino. Derbez, who co-founded 3Pas Studios and principal in the upcoming Hulu original film and remake of the French farce The Valet, spent $14 million to the penny on the gated seven-bed, ten-bath property, according to Dirt.

The 11,013 sq. ft. modern-inspired house features a wide-open main living area; the yawning space occupies the lion’s share of the first level, and is enhanced by pocketing glass, hardwood, and a linear fireplace in a marble accent wall. A hardwood staircase with a unique backlit niche handrail design, built-in shelving, and a Scandinavian-inspired kitchen with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry in natural-stained hardwood help sketch this primary living space.

Master bedroom features a second marble accent wall with linear unit and sliding glass opening to a private balcony; the master bath features a sauna. Other amenities include a garage and game room, an exercise room which could easily be converted to a dance studio, a spa room, and an atmospheric screening room with tiered seating and LED-backlit tray ceiling and shelving.

Outdoor amenities include a pool and spa area with a recessed hardwood fire pit with bench seating, a large patio and outdoor living area with BBQ hardware, a basketball court, and a rooftop deck with a U-shaped bar.
