A six-bedroom, seven-bath villa on one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive streets appeared on the open market in the last days of April courtesy of television personality Lilly Ghalichi. The 10,682 sq. ft. pedigreed residence is priced at $32 million.

The home’s more interesting amenities include its ownership provenance; it was owned by U.S. automotive industry luminary and Chrysler mastermind Lee Iacocca. Ghalichi has owned it since 2020, and paid $19.5 million for it.

The 1990-built home sits on a 1.18-acre lot. Landscaping follows through from the Mediterranean spirit of the house’s architecture, with some tropical and semi-tropical flora; tightly groomed lawns and plantings, hedgerows, and a border of mature trees surround the home and sunken tennis court that’s placed at a leisurely remove from the residence.

Inside the home, evocative details accumulate quickly, with the foyer sporting a ceiling with groin vault embellishments, a marble staircase, limestone tile, and an elaborate candelabra chandelier. Particularly compelling spaces include the sunny dayroom, which features a white oak floor in a herringbone pattern; upstairs, the herringbone makes another appearance in the master bedroom, which also sports a fireplace and a coffered ceiling.
