In the early autumn of 2020, actor Taylor Lautner became the first owner of a modern on nine acres in The Santa Monica Mountains. Last month, he sold the property to fellow actor Kaley Cuoco, who snagged it quickly, and above ask.
The principal of the Twilight franchise paid $3.8 million for the 5,400 sq. ft. house in Agoura Hills, a remote spot with five bedrooms, smart tech galore, French oak floors, an indoor/outdoor lifestyle design, and a 45-foot saltwater pool. In March of this year, up it went for sale at $5 million. When the dust had settled, the place had closed at $5.25 million.
Meanwhile, Lautner had set his sights on a new home in Agoura Hills, according to Dirt. This time around, the residence is a Mediterranean with six bedrooms and seven baths across 6,936 sq. ft. The 1991-built home sits on a 1.08-acre lot, and features a porte-cochere entry with a set of colorful tile steps in front, and a secluded two-level courtyard living area in back.
The home’s interior design style is romantic, if mannered; details include a floating hardwood staircase, terra-cotta tile floors, arched doorways, and a step-up living room with a double-height ceiling, three-sided upper-level gallery, and fireplace. The step-down kitchen is nearly a galley design, with a rustic treatment: rusticated counter backsplash, and an island clad in weathered hardwood.
The backyard courtyard features a discrete pool and spa at its lower level; a partial staircase leads to a cabana.
