Late last year, NBA All-Star Ben Simmons put two East Coast residences up for sale. The first, a condo at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia, went up for sale at $3.1 million. A single-family home in New Jersey followed, priced at $5 million.
This spring, the home in New Jersey found a buyer at $4.6 million. The vaguely French contemporary six-bedroom residence changed hands for $4.55 million in the third week of April.
The two-level home features a kitchen with a pair of quartz-capped islands and custom cabinetry, a dining room with display wine storage and nearby wet bar, and an owner’s suite with a fireplace, built-in shelving, wet bar, and private terrace; details include white oak floors and custom millwork, and specialized rooms include a studio and a billiards room. The cul-de-sac lot measures 1.78 acres.
The Philadelphia Ritz-Carlton condo remains for sale, although it saw a small price reduction. The three-bedroom, five-bath, 3,079 sq. ft. high-rise property is currently asking $3 million.
