Carrying on with its long history of tuning Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicles, Brabus has unwrapped its newest 800-level G-Wagen treatment, the Superwhite. Or, more specifically, the 2022 800 Adventure XLP Superwhite.
Superwhite? Sounds like a Lawrence Welk biopic from the virtual house of ’Flix, doesn’t it. But regular readers will remember its companion, and tonal — if not spiritual — opposite: the 800 Adventure XLP Superblack, which picked up (as it were) where the drone-packing 2020-released 800 XLP Adventure left off, and took its package along for the ride.
Like the Superblack, the Superwhite packs the firm’s 800-level performance components and tweaks and its Widestar body kit into a shortlist ultimate pickup with a turnkey style. Its performance numbers transfer from the Superblack: 789 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque from the 4.0L V8 and its new turbochargers; 0-60 in 4.8 seconds.
The Superwhite’s 800 Adventure XLP package includes a unique electronically controlled suspension, 22-inch monoblock HD forged wheels, a new exhaust system, and front and rear portal axles. And, of course, a coat of fetching ‘Diamond White Pearl’ paint contrasted with a ‘White Heat’ masterpiece interior. “Top of the world, ma!”
The 2022 Brabus 800 XLP Adventure Superwhite is priced at €750,743, or about $835K at current rates. In February of this year, the Superblack was priced at €726,259.
