Actress Milla Jovovich and her husband, Resident Evil franchise writer and occasional feature director Paul W.S. Anderson, put their home in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood up for sale this spring with an asking price of $13.995 million.

Built into a hillside and laid out in rambling fashion, the house gets in seven bedrooms, ten baths and 10,998 sq. ft. in interiors in a somewhat linear residential design. There are two entrances, with the garage a few feet from the street and a courtyard between garage and residence providing a gated portal on one end of the property, and a more formal vestibule entrance deeper into the lot’s .64 acre span.

The living areas range far and wide inside and out, with a roof terrace taking advantage of the hilly landscape, a guesthouse that gets high marks for charm and from which it might therefore be difficult to evict an in-law, and a primary great room with a soaring beamed ceiling. The guesthouse’s interiors feature a living room with a stone fireplace; the cottage’s bedroom sports a more modern installation, and outside it has a secluded private courtyard all its own.

The property’s structures include a pool cabana, which is currently purposed as a fitness studio. The pool features a slate surround and an elevated spa with a waterfall feature between, and is the centerpiece of a large patio and loggia that gives the 2006-built Mediterranean property the feel of a Spanish ranch. Vegetable gardens, lawns, an outdoor fireplace, and flower-heavy landscaping complete a compelling turnkey living style.
