The Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel has been in a selling mood for the past year or so. In the summer of last year, she handed her 4,698 sq. ft. Colonial in Connecticut to a new owner in exchange for $3.3 million, and put her condo in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood up for sale for $6.95 million.
The 4,034 sq. ft. two-bedroom property was relisted at the same asking price — $6.95 million — in December, and the new exposure must’ve done the trick. According to public records, the residence moved into contract status in the second week of February, and changed hands at that figure in the last week of March.
The unit, which was featured in Architectural Digest, features a few genuinely striking details; on the list is the figured stone of the waterfall island, the trio installation of abstract form that brightens the wall behind the little wet bar, and the white oak floors that bring a bit of warmth and texture to the living style. The building’s 1904 vintage is represented by the unit’s exposed plumbing.
