The Manhattan pied-a-terre of actress Scarlett Johansson found a new owner this month. The 1,917 sq. ft. Sutton Place mid-rise residence changed hands for $1.877 million.
Johansson had initially listed the property in late 2020, asking $2.3 million. No soap, and the residence made a return to the open market about a year later with a price snip.
The three-and-three features a double-suite accommodations layout. Details include oak plank floors, track lighting, and block glass. The unit also features a 500 sq. ft. terrace with raised planters; the vantage allows for taste-of-NYC views.
The Manhattan apartment wasn’t Johansson’s only venture into Empire State real estate. In 2018, she picked up a fantastical four-bedroom getaway in Palisades, New York — the town previously known as Snedens Landing — for $4 million.
Johansson’s upcoming projects include rom-com drama Asteroid City, with Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Tom Hanks, Margot Robbie, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Liev Schreiber, Matt Dillon, and Maya Hawke.
